The session will take place on Tuesday, June 30th at 6pm, and Dr. Gregory Payne, Chair at Emerson College (Boston-USA) and Dr. Enric Ordeix, Global Communication Management Degree Director will be present, both of whom will discuss the evolution of communication studies in Europe and the adaptability to the global trends. Therefore, the webinar will go from the origin of communication studies to the broader scope of corporate communication, where management, business and governance take part as main actors in the international arena.

Dr. Payne, an expert in this matter, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Ramon Llull University, last November. He will share his profound experience and extensive commitment to higher education and politics.

Also, Dr. Ordeix, director of the Degree in Global Communication Management, will explain how and why corporate communication has become, more than ever, a strategic area at the very core of any international environment.

Both of them co-direct the Emerson-Blanquerna Center for Global Communication, a partnership between the two schools that promotes a network of collaboration through shared events, conduct applied research with global entities and companies, and training in Boston and Barcelona.
