The 2025 edition of the Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, from June 30 to July 4, will consist of a number of interactive courses on the politics and international relations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, taught by experts of international reputation. These will be complemented by various field trips and cultural events.

This integrated structure will enable the programme to cater to the needs of both students and practitioners. Students will have the opportunity to obtain ECTS credits, provided they are recognized by their university. The events will be free for all registered participants.

The School is a joint initiative of IBEI, Blanquerna, Catalonia International and IEMed. The format will be face-to-face. The activity is organized with the support of Generalitat de Catalunya, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona and PRIO Cyprus Centre.

Interested candidates should apply before June 27. After this deadline, your place may not be guaranteed. Please complete the registration form including your CV and detailing the courses you are interested in. Special discounts are available for IBEI and Blanquerna students/faculty/alumni and for early applications. Roundtables and Events are free for all participants.
