Universitat Ramon Llull Fundació, CIF G59069740, calle Claravall 1-3 (08022), tel +34 93 602 22 00 and e-mail rtd@url.edu. You can contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) via email dpd@url.edu or telephone 34 97 222 16 91..

For what purpose are personal data processed?

The URL holds data to record which persons, individually or as representatives of legal entities, are the recipients of information on its activities, services and initiatives. They help us to manage the sending of such data. This information can be sent by one or more of the communication channels used by the URL, such as e-mail text, publications or alerts to mobile devices.

How long is the data kept?

The personal data will be kept until the person receiving the information indicates they wish to stop receiving the information. For persons receiving information as representatives of legal entities, the data may be deleted if such representation ceases to be effective.

What is the legitimacy for data processing?

The data is subject to processing with the consent of the person receiving the information, who may at any time revoke this consent, at which point their data will be deleted immediately. Data on persons appearing on the list of recipients as representatives of legal entities is processed to fulfil a task performed in the public interest, such as guaranteeing communication between the URL and other institutions.

Who is the data communicated to?

Personal data is not communicated to other people without the prior and explicit consent of the party concerned.

What rights exist in relation to data processing?

Everyone has the right to obtain confirmation of whether the URL is processing their personal data. If it is, you have the right to know where the data were obtained, if not provided directly, and the purpose for which they are intended. In general, laws recognise interested parties' right to access their data, as well as to request rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request that data be deleted when no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected and there is no obligation to keep them. In the case of subscribing to channels or information services, deletion occurs immediately after the request is received from the person concerned. In certain circumstances, interested parties may request to limit the processing of their data, a right that gives them control over these data, mainly in order to correct inappropriate processing and to submit claims in defence of their rights.

How can rights be exercised or defended?

By letter addressed to the Ramon Llull University (Data Processing Officer), at Carrer Claravall 1-3, 08022 Barcelona.

If anybody considers that their rights have not been adequately addressed, they can file a claim with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (www.apd.cat). You can write directly to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at any time via email dpd@url.edu and by phone +34 97 222 16 91.
