HRS4R awareness session at Blanquerna
Online
Blanquerna organizes a HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) awareness online session on Friday 18th December at 12pm. The institution is undergoing implementation of the HRS4R logo that was awarded last year. The motivation of the event is to make this relevant objective even more visible, to raise awareness of the HRS4R initiative and to further involve the whole Blanquerna research community so that they can also become enthusiastic about this common objective.
During the event we'll also count with the presence of a special guest, Mary O'Regan, HR Research Manager at University College Cork (UCC). UCC is one of the pioneers of the HRS4R accreditation (already going for the second renewal) and it is also the first University of Ireland to achieve the 5 stars of the QS World University Rankings. Mary will explain what the HRS4R award has brought to their university, on improved training opportunities, career development outside the Academia, or an ever more stimulating research environment and improved working conditions. She will also share with us her experience on the C&C principles and answer our questions, providing us with an invaluable chance of training on this topic.
In addition to Mary O'Regan, Lorena Muñoz, partner of Effectia Innovation Solutions IE, will also participate with tips and insights based on their solid knowledge of the HRS4R process.
During the event, the Blanquerna-URL general director, Andreu Ibarz, will recognize the role of the "Blanquerna HRS4R ambassadors". They are researchers across the different profiles who are taking part in the HRS4R working groups in the current HRS4R implementation phase.
