Data Science at the service of the impact of Covid-19
Covid-19 has highlighted the usefulness of Data Science in all its dimensions: from the amount of data (big? small?), the processing of the same using artificial intelligence and statistical techniques (do we re-predict? re-diagnose? re-segment?), the visualization of the results (an example has been seen in press) and the interpretation of the results for decision making.
In the Research Group Data Science for the Digital Society de la Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull we have observed, once again, the importance of data sources, both in the analysis of the evolution of the pandemic, and in the impact on projects of companies. In a nutshell: the impact of Covid-19 on society through data science.
