La URL ranks 15 master’s degrees among the best in Spain, according to ‘El Mundo’ ranking

These degrees are positioned in the Top 5 of Spanish universities in their subject areas

Wednesday, 23 June 2021. "El Mundo 250 Masters" ranking selects the 5 best postgraduate programmes in 50 specialities with the aim of identifying the best master’s degrees and providing information about them, their career opportunities, the internships they offer and the duration of the programmes.

In this year's edition, the 15 URL master's degrees that have been ranked in their subject areas are:

  • Bioengineering: 3rd position (IQS-URL)
  • Global Entrepreneurial Management: 3rd position (IQS-URL)
  • Training Teachers for Secondary and Sixth-From Teaching, Vocational Training and Language Teaching: 2nd position (Blanquerna-URL / La Salle-URL)
  • Advertising Strategy and Creativity: 4th position (Blanquerna-URL)
  • Advanced Journalism: 4th position (Blanquerna-URL)
  • SAP Functional Consulting: 2nd position (La Salle-URL)
  • Project Management: 2nd position (La Salle-URL)
  • IC Service Management: 3rd position (La Salle-URL)
  • Science in Big Data Engineering: 3rd position (La Salle-URL)
  • Supply Chain Management and Technology: 4th position (La Salle-URL)
  • Legal practice: 2nd position (Esade-URL)
  • Tax Consultancy and Management: 2nd position (Esade-URL)
  • ICT Law, Social Networks and Intellectual Property: 3rd position (Esade-URL)
  • International Business Law: 3rd position (Esade-URL)
  • Events Management and Business Tourism: 5th position (HTSI-URL)

This publication also presents a complete MBA Guide of the most prestigious business schools in Spain, and it consolidates Esade-URL as one of the most prestigious institutions.

In order to elaborate the ranking, the newspaper has evaluated up to 1.000 postgraduate programmes belonging to around 50 subject areas and, subsequently, it selected the 5 best universities that teach them. Finally, 250 master’s degrees were selected.

The classification is the result of an analysis of 25 selection criteria divided into 5 sections: demand for the master's degree, human resources, study plans, outcomes and material resources. In addition, the evaluation of nearly 800 experts, professors, students, graduates from the institutions and collaborating companies has also been considered, who, through an anonymous survey, evaluated the best centres for teaching the degree, their strong and weak points and the quality of the master’s degree, among others.
