Esade-URL’s Master of Science in International Management ranks 8th in the world (7th in Europe) and is also the No. 1 in Spain for the second year running thanks, amongst other things, to the salaries and career advancement of graduates, their training in ESG and the international exposure of students

Monday, September 11, 2023Esade-URL’s Master of Science (MSc) in International Management has been acclaimed by the Financial Times as the 8th in the world (7th in Europe) and the best in Spain for the second year running. The aspects of the MSc valued most highly in this year’s ranking are graduates’ salary advancement (three years after graduation) and, amongst this year’s new variables, their training in ESG realms and criteria, and carbon footprint. Joan Rodon, dean of Esade Business School-URL, believes that “sustainability and ethical leadership are at the core of an Esade education, therefore the commitment to sustainability permeates the academic activities and subjects in our MSc in International Management, whose focus on ESG areas has been highlighted by the Financial Times”.

Preparation for a globalized world

Another factor of the Esade-URL MSc in International Management underlined by the Financial Times is the career advancement of its graduates, their job prospects and the international exposure of students on this program. “We prepare and educate our students with solid bases, specialist knowledge, a global mindset and work in complex scenarios: skills required by today’s corporate world. As a result, our graduates are highly sought after by international recruitment firms”. In this respect, 94% of students found employment within three months of completing their master and 49% did so outside their country of origin.

Furthermore, the international exposure of MSc students is marked by exchange programs, the possibility of international internships and study tours - week-long stays with all students at leading universities. The exchange program, involving the top 153 universities in that world that Esade Business School has co-operation arrangements with, is taken up by almost 30% of students. As regards the diversity and international background of students, last year there were 32 different nationalities in the classroom. According to Joan Rodon, “in an increasingly interconnected world, it’s essential to understand global issues and outlooks. This is why Esade-URL’s Master of Science in International Management brings together students from different backgrounds and cultures, helping them understand the globalized world and its impact on international business.”
