Information about Coronavirus

Throughout the 2019-2020 academic year, Ramon Llull University (URL) has maintained the maximum possible academic and teaching normality by migrating all face-to-face teaching activities to an online context, maintaining class schedules and carrying them out in synchronous format. Likewise, the evolution of the Covid-19 outbreak has been continuously monitored and our activity has been adapted to the different regulations and recommendations made by the relevant authorities, with whom we have maintained constant communication.

The necessary communication channels have also been established to keep our university community, the governing bodies and the Student Council informed at all times through the various crisis committees set up to deal with the pandemic.

In order to be able to attend to the organization of the next academic year 2020-2021 in an orderly fashion and in time, the University has drawn up the document General criteria for the adaptation of Ramon Llull University's academic year 2020-2021 to the context of exceptionality of the COVID-19 with the aim of continuing to provide maximum guarantees and legal security for everything that should be done in the face of a new health crisis. This document also contains a plan that would allow a generalised and immediate change to be applied to an online teaching system in the event that a health crisis such as the one experienced in recent months were to be repeated.

Finally, and following the request of the Catalonia's Secretariat for Universities, the different centres of the University have designed their contingency plans to comply with the guidelines indicated by the Sectorial Plan of Universities of the Generalitat, and which covers the security measures applicable to the installations and equipment of the university campuses. All these plans are included in the Specific contingency plan of Ramon Llull University for COVID19.
