The global pandemic has affected work processes and interpersonal relationships: teleworking has become the new normal for most companies in all sectors, including audiovisual, animation and VFX. During the confinement, filming and premieres have ceased and cinemas have closed.

In this context, Félix Balbás, Director of the production company Minimo VFX and Director of the Degree in Animation at La Salle-URL, will speak with Lluís Font to analyze how video game companies have faced this situation and what are the challenges for this sector.

Félix Balbás, director of the VFX Minimum Production Company and Director of the Animation Degree at La Salle Campus Barcelona. With over 30 years in the industry, expert in the world of animation and visual effects, he has worked in several Hollywood blockbusters such as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Avatar or A Monster Calls. In 2012 he founded his own production company, Minimo VFX. In 2013 he founded b'Ars, the international animation and visual effects fair in Barcelona, a meeting point for the animation, video games and special effects production.
