Ramon Llull University is ranked in the QS Top 50 under 50 for the first time and is placed in the 81-90 position
Thursday, June 21th, 2018. Ramon Llull University (URL) is among the best young universities in the world according to the prestigious QS Top 50 under 50 ranking. This classification, which Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has been publishing since 2012, has placed the URL in the 81-90th position in the world and in the 25th position in Europe.
The QS Top 50 under 50 ranking is a classification of the best universities in the world under 50 years old, therefore, of those institutions created after 1968. The ranking presented contains 150 universities, three of which are Catalan: Politècnica de Catalunya, Pompeu Fabra and Ramon Llull.
In order to produce the ranking of young universities, the QS takes into account the first 150 universities under the age of 50 that were ranked in the QS general ranking (World University Rankings). In this year's edition of this last ranking, which evaluates universities on the basis of the quality of teaching, research, employability and internationalisation, the URL was ranked for the first time in the 541-550 range.
Besides these good results, a few months ago the QS World University Rankings by Subjects 2018 selected the URL for the second consecutive year as the 125th best university in the world to study Social Sciences and Management, and the 27th in the subcategory of Management Studies.
