Esade launches ‘Stay Connected’, a knowledge platform to create value for society
This initiative aims to help with the definition and implementation of programmes of action and to contribute to thinking, analysis, and innovation by means of knowledge in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis
Wednesday, 8 April 2020. Esade has launched its new online platform Stay Connected, an initiative in response to the institution’s commitment to contributing value to the community by means of knowledge and social discussion, and providing help particularly for professionals and executives on defining and implementing their programmes of action and strategies in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The platform hosts a variety of webinars and a series of masterclasses on subjects that may be useful and interesting in view of the social, business and economic challenge facing us.
Marc Correa, deputy dean for programmes at Esade Executive Education and head of the Stay Connected platform, stressed that Esade’s aim is “to contribute to an understanding of today’s context, provide frameworks and management methods in view of this very unusual situation, and finally, to point out lines of action for organisations and individuals”, in order to “empower our community, help it adapt to the new scenario, advance changes and incentivise new solutions by means of knowledge”, he added. The spread of COVID-19 is, above all, a global humanitarian and health safety crisis although its impact on the global economy is devastating. “This is a time for solidarity and for thinking about the needs of our community, and this is why Esade is making a variety of contents available to the public so that everyone can make the most of them in these circumstances” emphasised Correa.
With this commitment, Esade has already posted several masterclasses and webinars with open and unlimited access, by professors from the institution on different subjects chosen from the platform framework. Every Monday, two new masterclasses will be added and also, live and on-demand webinars will be held on a regular basis on the platform itself and on the Esade corporate channels on Linkedln and YouTube.
