Chair of Educational Leisure and Sociocultural Action-URL

The Chair of Educational Leisure and Sociocultural Action, promoted by the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarrés-URL, aims to promote a model of educational leisure and sociocultural action that promotes the construction of meaningful learning for life, interpersonal and group bonding, and the committed and responsible relationship with the environment and the community, all interested in educational leisure and sociocultural action throughout the life cycle: children, young people, adults, families and the elderly.

To achieve its objectives, the chair promotes interdisciplinary research, the generation of knowledge, the promotion of social debate, and the analysis and evaluation of practices and programs, ensuring the responsible and accessible development of the sector, together with social and educational organizations and public administrations, to which it advises and offers specialized training.
