CEMS MIM, offered in Spain only by ESADE-URL, ranked 4th worldwide by Financial Times
Monday, 14th september 2015. The CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM), offered in Spain only by ESADE-Ramon Llull University (URL), has risen from 5th to 4th place in the latest Financial Times annual ranking of Masters in International Management.
Alberto Gimeno, Director of the CEMS MIM at ESADE-URL, commented: “This showing in the Financial Times ranking recognises the hard work that CEMS has been doing since its creation 25 years ago to anticipate the training needs of the students who will be leading the organisations of the future, which will be different from today’s organisations and will operate in environments that bear little resemblance to the present day.”
The Financial Times ranking also recognised the Master in International Management at ESADE Business School-URL as #12 in the world and #2 in the category of graduates’ international mobility.
Growing demand for Masters of Science
The CEMS MIM is the result of a strategic alliance of 27 business schools on four continents and 71 corporate partners. Each year, more than 700 students from 50 countries participate in the programme. The CEMS MIM leads to a Master of Science (MSc) in Management – a degree tailored to recent university graduates – issued by the host institution. The aim of the programme is to meet companies’ demand for young workers with management skills. It provides a high level of training, specialisation and professional experience for multilingual and multicultural graduate students.
Enrolment in MSc in Management programmes has increased considerably over the past few years as the demand for this qualification has risen in the business world. In ESADE’s MSc programmes, enrolment increased by more than 22% in 2015 to reach a total of 458 students.
ESADE Business & Law School’s MSc offering also includes the Master in Finance, which the Financial Times has ranked #2 worldwide in its category for the past two years.
ESADE MBA in the Forbes top 10
Last week, the ESADE MBA made the Forbes list of the top 10 non-U.S. MBA programmes, taking 10th place in the ranking. ESADE-URL continues to consistently appear near the top of widely respected rankings that are followed closely by the international economic and business community.
