6 URL’s degree, among the best in the State, according to the ranking of El Mundo
The Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and the Double Degree in Business Management and Law are classified for the first time in the ranking
Tuesday, 12 May 2021. Ramon Llull University (URL) places 6 of its bachelor’s degrees in the Top 5 of Spanish universities and 4 of these are in the best position in Catalonia, according to the ranking "50 Carreras" published today by El Mundo newspaper.
This classification, which reaches its 20th edition, collects the 50 bachelor’s degrees most demanded by students and ranks the top 5 universities to study them at. In this edition, 6 of the URL’s bachelor’s degrees appear in the top 5 positions:
RESULTS OF THE 2021 EDITION
- Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing (Blanquerna-URL): 2nd position
- BBA Business Management (Esade-URL): 2nd position
- Social Education (Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarrés-URL): 2nd position
- Social Work (Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarrés-URL): 3rd position
- Double Degree in Business Management and Law (Esade-URL): 4th position
- International Relations (Blanquerna-URL): 5th position
This year, for the first time, the Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Blanquerna-URL and the double Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Law from Esade-URL have been classified in the Top 5.
As new features, it is also relevant that, of these 6 bachelor’s degrees classified, the Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarrés-URL), the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Esade-URL), the double degree in Business Management and Law (Esade-URL) and the Bachelor's Degree in International Relations (Faculty of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL) are in the first position in Catalonia.
To carry out the ranking, El Mundo considers 27 selection criteria divided into three main sections: a questionnaire sent to 3,000 professors, the data provided by the university itself, and other indicators of external studies such as results in international rankings, ANECA reports and results of reports from Spanish universities, among others.
In addition, the criteria followed to elaborate the general ranking of universities is the sum of first, second and third positions, followed by the sum of four and five positions.
