17.02.2025

The Esade-URL program ranks #8 in the world and #5 in Europe

Dilluns, 17 de febrer de 2025. The Esade-URL Full-Time MBA has climbed nine positions in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking and is now amongst the best ten programs in the world: #8 globally and #5 in Europe to be precise. Aspects highlighted by the Financial Times include Esade-URL’s international course experience for MBA students (#4 worldwide), low carbon footprint (#4 worldwide), international student body (#9 worldwide), and salary percentage increase post graduation (#10 worldwide).

“The fact that our Full-Time MBA ranks amongst the best ten programs in the world consolidates Esade-URL’s position as one of the world’s foremost business schools, with an educational model that combines academic excellence, global impact and a serious commitment to sustainability,” emphasized Joan Rodon, dean of Esade-URL Business School. “Thanks to our experiential learning methodology, our students are prepared to deal with complex challenges, make an impact in their organizations and contribute to the advancement of society.”

A program with considerable international outreach

One of the decisive reasons for the Esade-URL Full-Time MBA’s ascent in this ranking has been, once again, its decidedly global orientation. The Financial Times places the program #4 in the world for international experience, thanks to its flexible format (12, 15 or 18 months in duration) and its learning ecosystem with international internships, exchanges with the world’s top business schools, study tours in key economic hubs and company treks in benchmark companies. “The global economy calls for leaders with a broad mindset able to manage diverse teams in changing landscapes,” explained Rodon. “Our MBA offers a host of opportunities for students to develop this outlook, enabling them to integrate themselves into business ecosystems that can boost their academic and professional advancement”.

Diversity is another cornerstone of Esade-URL’s MBA, ranking amongst the world’s top ten in this category. Of current students, 98% are international, hailing from 43 different nationalities.

Career transformation and high return on investment

The Financial Times also underlines the impact of Esade-URL’s Full-Time MBA on graduates’ careers, ranking it #6 in Europe for career progress. Increases in salary after graduation are particularly noteworthy (#1 in Europe, #10 in the world), with an average increase of 173% within three years. “The Esade-URL MBA boosts the careers of our students and facilitates their shift into new functions, industries and locations,” said Rodon. Indeed, 97% of the students who graduated in 2023 radically changed their career path, with 40% achieving the ‘triple jump’ (a simultaneous change of industry, function and location). In addition, 59% of these changes involved international positions.

This outcome reflects the impact of the support delivered by Esade Career Services, acknowledged to be the 5th best career development service in Europe. By means of personalized coaching, networking opportunities and partnerships with major companies, Esade-URL continues to drive the advancement of its students and consolidates its position as one of the best business schools in the world.
