Ramon Llull University (URL), recognized by the SENESCYT of Ecuador

In January 2016 Ramon Llull University (URL) was included in the list of higher education institutions for the automatic recognition of degrees, handled by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT) of Ecuador. This fact recognizes the URL as a higher education institution in Spain authorized to grant academic degrees of international excellence and, therefore, recognized by the educational authorities in Ecuador.

Ramon Llull University, recognized by the Chinese Ministry

In December 2012 Ramon Llull University joined the list of universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China, being one of the private universities in Spain to have this distinction. This fact represents the official recognition of our university by the Chinese authorities as a recommended institution for their students to take higher education studies abroad.

Aristos Campus Mundus (ACM) project, Campus of International Excellence

The ACM project, a strategic aggregation of the Ramon Llull, Deusto and Comillas universities with a cooperation agreement with the North American universities Georgetown University, Boston College and Fordham University, obtained the qualification of Campus of International Excellence in the category of European regional scope in the 2011 call of the Ministry of Education. In 2013 and 2014 it obtained the renewal of the seal of quality and in December 2016 it obtained the definitive seal with the maximum qualification (A).

The first private university in Spain to obtain this recognition

In September 2007, Ramon Llull University received a favourable report from the Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP) within the European University Association (EUA). Said evaluation consists of a global analysis of the university led by internationally prestigious university experts. 

ABET Accreditation

By the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET ((Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, USA) of the programmes of Chemical Engineering and Engineering for Industrial Technologies offered at IQS School of Engineering.

AACSB Accreditation

AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Accreditation for all the programmes offered by IQS School of Management.

Awarded by the Government of Catalonia on 6th of September 2019 to this teaching project, taught by Blanquerna-URL and La Salle-URL, as it is considered an example of a model of active and interdisciplinary learning, of teaching innovation and integral evaluation pure by competences, through specific contributions to the specialities of the master, such as cooperative learning based on projects, the creation of multilingual paradigms or the introduction of ICT and TAC.

HR Excellence in Research quality award | 2019

The European Commission gives Blanquerna the HRS4R accreditation, the seal that defines the Human Resources Strategy for researchers and reflects Blanquerna's commitment to continuously improve human resources policies in accordance with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, and, in particular, its commitment to fair recruitment procedures and transparent.

AEEDE (Spanish Association of Business Schools)

The La Salle – URL Business Engineering School (BES) is a member of AEEDE and, consequently, meets all its requirements. AEEDE was founded in 1989. Its mission is to foment quality education in the business administration field, provide service to the business community and develop business knowledge within its area of competencies. Other members in AEEDE include IESE, Instituto de Empresa, Esade, EADA, EAE, ESIC, etc.

IACBE ACCREDITATION

La Salle – URL BES was the first business school in Spain to achieve specialised accreditation in business education for its International MBA and the Bachelor in Management of Business and Technology. This accreditation is granted by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) based in Olathe, Kansas (USA).

PMI (Project Management Institute)

La Salle – URL BES was the first business school in the world to obtain accreditation for a Master’s programme taught in Spanish. This recognition was granted by the Global Accreditation Center (GAC) within the PMI (Project Management Institute). In addition, it was the first programme in Spain and the third in Europe to obtain this recognition. The Master in Project Management was launched in 1999 and, since then, has contributed to educate more than a thousand professionals.

La Salle – URL BES was the first business school in Spain to obtain the REP (Registered Educational Provider) certification by the PMI (Project Management Institute) for its Executive Education programmes and specific courses within the Master’s programme, guaranteeing the excellence of these courses at the international level.

In recognition of the centenary of the foundation of the La Salle Engineering and Architecture School within the framework of the renowned teaching work promoted by the congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. Granting of the Gold Medal for Scientific Merit from the City of Barcelona | 2015

La Salle University and Technology Foundation receive the Gold Medal for Scientific Merit for its 50 years of valuable work in scientific and technical development and its practical knowledge in the areas of engineering, management, architecture and other disciplines. In 2015 La Salle-URL celebrates the 50th anniversary of the launch of the first Telecommunications School of Catalonia, created in 1965.

In 1998, Esade became the first business school in Spain and one of the first in Europe to receive the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) institutional accreditation granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

In recognition of the fiftieth anniversary of this entity, created within the Conferencia Episcopal Tarraconense and linked to the Ramon Llull University. For the quality of the assistance it provides, in its mental health centers, to people with psychopathological disorders, complemented by its commitment to training and research in the fields of psychology and psychiatry.

For having contributed, since its foundation in 1904, in an important way to the progress of scientific research, dedicating itself to the study of the influence of solar activity on geophysical and atmospheric phenomena.

In recognition of this scientific institution for being a pioneer in the introduction of new theories and techniques for the observation of the sun-earth interaction, for the high level achieved, over more than eighty years, in the study of the relationship between solar activity and geographical phenomena, which has earned it international recognition.
