Ramon Llull University (URL), recognized by the SENESCYT of Ecuador

URL is recognized, since 2016, by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT) of Ecuador as a higher education institution in Spain authorized to grant academic degrees of international excellence and, therefore, recognized by the educational authorities in Ecuador.

Ramon Llull University, recognized by the Chinese Ministry

The URL is part, since December 2012, of the private universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China. This means the official consideration by the Chinese Government of URL as one of the universities recommended to Chinese students to study abroad.

Aristos Campus Mundus (ACM) project, Campus of International Excellence

The ACM project, a strategic aggregation of the universities Deusto, Pontificia Comillas, Ramon Llull and, from 2023, Loyola, obtained (under the coordination of the first three universities) the qualification of Campus of International Excellence in the European regional category.

The first private university in Spain to obtain this recognition

In September 2007, Ramon Llull University received a favourable report from the Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP) within the European University Association (EUA). Said evaluation consists of a global analysis of the university led by internationally prestigious university experts.

AEEDE (Spanish Association of Business Schools)

The La Salle – URL Business Engineering School (BES) is a member of AEEDE and, consequently, meets all its requirements. AEEDE was founded in 1989. Its mission is to foment quality education in the business administration field, provide service to the business community and develop business knowledge within its area of competencies. Other members in AEEDE include IESE, Instituto de Empresa, Esade, EADA, EAE, ESIC, etc.

IACBE ACCREDITATION

La Salle – URL BES was the first business school in Spain to achieve specialised accreditation in business education for its International MBA and the Bachelor in Management of Business and Technology. This accreditation is granted by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) based in Olathe, Kansas (USA).

PMI (Project Management Institute)

La Salle – URL BES was the first business school in the world to obtain accreditation for a Master’s programme taught in Spanish. This recognition was granted by the Global Accreditation Center (GAC) within the PMI (Project Management Institute). In addition, it was the first programme in Spain and the third in Europe to obtain this recognition. The Master in Project Management was launched in 1999 and, since then, has contributed to educate more than a thousand professionals.
